The park is open weekends only starting Memorial Day weekend (May 24 - 26), then full-time,
9:30am - 7:30pm, from June 21 through September 1, 2008, weather permitting. Lifeguards are
on duty daily from June 21 through September 1.

This major recreation area in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region offers year-round activities.
In the winter, alpine skiing is available at Mt. Sunapee Resort, owned by the state of New
Hampshire and managed by the Okemo Mountain Resort.
Enjoy hiking, swimming, picnicking, boating, fishing and swimming in the summer/fall months at the beach.
The campground offers five renovated lean-to sites, with
pit toilets and water, and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Mt. Sunapee State Park
Beach, with flush toilets and showers, is located about a mile from the campground and campers may also use of these facilities.
