More Information:
The campground at Lake Francis State Park is open from early May to early December. Each campsite has a fireplace, picnic table, flat area for a tent and a parking space. Five of the campground's forty-one sites are walk-in. They are situated near the river, have tent platforms and are about a two-minute walk from the parking area. Running water, flush toilets, and a dump station are centrally located in the campground. Late fall campers should be aware that there is no running water in the campground from mid-October for the remainder of the season. A boat launch is located in the day-use area of the park. Fishing and canoeing are popular activities. Reservations for campsites may be made Monday through Friday, January through mid-October, by calling the Reservation Center at 603/271-3628. Many sites are left available for those campers that prefer to camp on a first come - first serve basis.

Group-Use
Lake Francis State Park provides a great camping base for organized youth groups that want to explore the north country. Reservations for youth group camping are required and may be made Monday through Friday, January through mid-October, by calling the Reservation Center at 603/271-3628.
